Since most service providers have already launched their IP phone service, it is now obvious that IP networks will be used to carry voice traffic. What will be the benefits? How to migrate from TDM to IP? …
This course will allow you to understand the way voice is transported in an IP network and help you identify the various technical, economical and management issues to consider when implementing a VoIP network.
Prerequisites:
The participant should have attended to “IP, process and services” or have equivalent knowledge.
Target audience:
Sales representatives, account managers, help desk technicians (level 1), managers and support staff who’s functions requires a good level of understanding of the operation and components of IP telephony without requiring a deep knowledge of the protocols.

This course is using a different and more innovative approach than traditional training.
For each learning unit, the instructor will first explain the basic concepts and notions. Then the participants will simulate, as if they where within the components of an IP phone network, various steps of a voice call over an IP network. Based on the observations made during the simulation, the instructor will then crystallize the theory.
